With a conventional stretcher, we have no choice but to have imperfect riggings which makes it hard to optimize rowers' performance due to MP joint (metatarsophalangeal joint, the ball of a thumb) strain and ankle tightness since the shoes are fixed to the stretcher board.
Our SRD Virtual Pivot (VP) is an outstanding feature which has a rotation axis installed at the same positions of MP joints. As the bending of MP joints is reflexed, you can maintain tread pressure more easily. This mechanism enables more ideal riggings without stroke range loss which is sure to bring higher output in propelling.
In addition, Virtual Pivot gathers power from the rower to the boat into a single vector which reduces pitching, that interferes with boat propulsion, as you know.
